Grower Direct  was started in the 2001 by Bruce Parsons and Scott Shadle.  Both were long time executives from the technology world and felt there was an opportunity to streamline the highly fragmented specimin palm world, while at the same time offering landscapers and wholesalers a better product at a better price.

Grower Direct currently represents 7 of the largest Medjool palm growers in the United States.  Their total fruit production is over 5 million pounds, making the group the largest single Medjool producer in the US.  With over 75,000 Medjools planted...from container to 50 feet of clear trunk...we have Medjool palms.  We also have over 40,000 other palms planted in CA, AZ and TX allowing landscapers to have one place to call when shopping for specimin sized palms.
